Cost per animal, and how many people it feeds
All prices are set and charged in Saudi Riyals (SAR). Foreign cards normally work without difficulty; your bank converts the amount at its own rate and some cards add a currency conversion fee.

Oversight and registration
Adahi Saudi is a registered Saudi commercial entity, commercial registration number 7037054341 with the Ministry of Commerce. Every sacrifice is carried out under the supervision of a Shariah committee that verifies the animal's age, its soundness, and the method of slaughter. Questions and answers
Which countries is the meat distributed in, and how many villages?
In over 82 villages across seven countries: Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Chad.
How are the recipients chosen?
The meat is given to families in need in the villages where the sacrifice is carried out, with priority to those in greatest need locally. The distribution is photographed and those photographs form part of what is sent to you.
What exactly is the proof I receive?
Two things: a video of the sacrifice, in which the name you entered is spoken aloud, and photographs of the meat being distributed. Both reach you within 3 working days, typically within 24 to 48 hours, by email and WhatsApp.
Can I give the sadaqah in the name of a living person or someone who has died?
Yes. You may enter your own name, the name of a living person such as a parent or child, or the name of someone who has died. Whichever name you enter is the one spoken aloud at the slaughter and heard in the video.
How is this different from a general charity donation?
A general donation is pooled with other donations and what you receive back is a receipt for the amount you gave. Here a specific animal is bought, slaughtered in the name you entered, and its distribution photographed, and you receive that video and those photographs for your own order within 3 working days.
What is the difference between sadaqah and zakat?
According to the majority of scholars, zakat is a fixed obligation on particular kinds of wealth, calculated at a set rate and payable to defined categories of recipients. Sadaqah is voluntary giving with no fixed amount, no fixed time and no set number, and it may be given in the name of anyone you choose. What is offered here is a sadaqah sacrifice, not a zakat payment.
How many families does one animal feed?
A goat feeds 10 to 13 people, a sheep 13 to 15, a ram 15 to 18, a cow or bull 100 to 120, and a camel over 100. The meat is divided into portions and given to separate households rather than to one family.
Is the meat distributed fresh?
Yes. The animal is slaughtered in the area where the meat is to be given out and distributed to households there, which is why the distribution photographs follow the sacrifice within the same short window rather than weeks later.
When is the best time to give a sadaqah sacrifice?
There is no fixed time. A sadaqah sacrifice may be given on any day of the year, which is one of the ways it differs from an aqiqah, whose sunnah time is the seventh day after birth. Many orders are placed to mark a recovery, a safe journey, an answered supplication, or in memory of someone who has died.
Can I order several animals at once?
Yes. You can add several animals to a single order, each with its own name, and each one receives its own separate video and distribution photographs. There is no limit on the number.

How long does the documentation take, and how does it reach me?

How does this differ from donating to a large international charity?
The difference is in what is traceable back to your own money. A large charity aggregates many donations into programmes and reports on the programme as a whole. Here one animal corresponds to one order, is slaughtered in the name on that order, and its distribution is photographed and sent to you within 3 working days. Both are legitimate ways of giving; they answer different questions.
What happens if the documentation does not arrive?
